  • Steve preaches at the Sunday morning service, about 100 people present, Sunday,

  • Jose and Steve listen in on / and participate in the Tuesday cell group discussion,

  • On Wednesday evening, the Thursday cell group hosts an open "question and answer"
    time with Steve and Jose, Wednesday, August 5, 2009.

Steve and Jose minister to a closeted gay-Christian cell group which meets weekly in the
home of a closeted gay American evangelical, Thursday, August 6, 2009.

  • Steve and Jose give a Powerpoint presentation on Other Sheep and a segment of The
    Bible and Homosexuality
  • The Children Are Free is distributed to five attendees and two absentees

Jose contacts 58 churches by phone (11Methodists, 17 Presbyterians, and a mixture of
independent Bible churches).

  • Three pastors ask to receive the book The Children Are Free by mail
  • One pastor accepts our invitation to meet with him in person

Steve and Jose meet with Carolyn Newall, a straight pro-LGBT ally who is an educator with
earned degrees in theology and Bible.  Carolyn has connections with Australian Bible churches.

  • Carolyn receives five books The Children Are Free for use in Australia

Steve and Jose do two interviews with two different LGBT activist organizations:  Fridae
and Queercast,  Thursday, August 6, 2009; Wednesday, August 12, 2009

Chance Meetings and Human Interest Stories

  • Steve and Jose meet and cultivate a friendship with a closeted Vietnamese gay male professional
    educator living in Singapore to further his education, studying here for one year (receives the book The
    Children Are Free).
