Steve and Jose minister to a closeted gay-Christian cell group which meets weekly in the
home of a closeted gay American evangelical, Thursday, August 6, 2009.
- Steve and Jose give a Powerpoint presentation on Other Sheep and a segment of The
Bible and Homosexuality
- The Children Are Free is distributed to five attendees and two absentees
Jose contacts 58 churches by phone (11Methodists, 17 Presbyterians, and a mixture of
independent Bible churches).
- Three pastors ask to receive the book The Children Are Free by mail
- One pastor accepts our invitation to meet with him in person
Steve and Jose meet with Carolyn Newall, a straight pro-LGBT ally who is an educator with
earned degrees in theology and Bible. Carolyn has connections with Australian Bible churches.
- Carolyn receives five books The Children Are Free for use in Australia
Steve and Jose do two interviews with two different LGBT activist organizations: Fridae
