- Steve travels to Vienna for ILGA World Conference
- Steve stops off in England - Birmingham - for an MCC Regional Conference; gives
workshop on Other Sheep in East Africa; meets with Rev. Elder Nancy Wilson to discuss
receiving extraordinary clergy credentials
- Steve attends "MCC Introduction to Sexuality Class" in Manchester, England
- Steve and Jose attend Other Sheep annual business meeting in St. Louis, MO
- Steve attends ETS annual meeting with Tom Hanks in Providence, Rhode Island
- Jose joins Tom Hanks and Steve in Boston for SBL annual meeting
- Steve and Jose visit in the home of Rev. Henry Mayor, retired Anglican priest assisting

Speaking Opportunities: In October, Rev. Steve
Parelli presented Other Sheep to Bridges, Yale's LGBTQ
and Ally interfaith group (New Haven, CT). In January, Rev.
Parelli gave the memorial address for David Kato at the
Love Alive International (NYC) memorial service. In April,
Steve spoke to Maranatha, the LGBT ministry of The
Riverside Church (NYC), and to Kelby Harrison's LGBT/Q
Social Ethics class of Union Theological Seminary
(NYC).
Meetings Attended: In November, Rev. Parelli
attended the US State Department Roundtable
Discussion on Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender
Issues in Africa (Washington, DC); and the SBL (Society of
Biblical Literature) Annual Meeting (with Rev. Thomas
Hanks) in Atlanta, GA. In December, Rev. Parelli attended
the Second LGBT/SOGI Human Rights Consultation (NYC).
Filling the Pulpit of East Bronx Baptist Church:
From November - March, Rev. Parelli spent most
Sundays filling the pulpit of East Bronx Baptist
Church, a small church consisting of about 5 people.
During Lent, EBBC (East Bronx Baptist Church) held
week-day evening services hosted by St. Paul's
Evangelical Lutheran United Church of Christ with Rev.
Dr. Christopher Solomon, Pastor. Rev. Solomon invited
Rev. Parelli participate as a featured speaker. Rev.
Solomon is a graduate of The United Theological
Semibnary of Bangalore
Makokha In New York City: With the
help of many friends in New York City, John
Makokha of Kenya and Steve Parelli were
able to present Other Sheep Kenya in four
church settings and one home setting: The
Riverside Church - to Maranatha -
Riversiders for LGBT Concerns; Rehoboth
Temple in Harlem; Metropolitan
Community Church of New York; Church
of St. Paul and St. Andrew, United
Methodist (SPSA); and the Parelli-Ortiz
home in the Bronx
